Dogs are actually great to have; if you're familiar with the movie Beethoven with that Saint Bernard that would wag his face just to splatter disgusting amounts of slobber everywhere, you're probably already thinking, no way! But there are some other factors to consider.
When you get a dog, you essentially got yourself a robo vacuum cleaner, so for those mommas with kiddos that find it impossible to keep all food on the table, ( as long as it is food safe for dogs,) you got yourself a helper.
When you get a dog, you have an emotional support system, and a cute one at that, one that doesn't judge and one that you can sit and cry with, pray with, vent to, without being judged.
And when you get a dog, you basically can use Spot as an opportunity to teach kids the importance and reason for a pawfect balance of love and discipline.
So for those parents whose kids keep begging them for a dog, maybe think of it as an opportunity to live a little rather than focusing too much on maintaining an Instagram- worthy home.
