Budget smartphones from the Chinese brand Xiaomi are deservedly popular, because they combine a decent level of power, good quality photos and a solid battery life.

     Desing

In the design section we see more differences. Xiaomi Redmi 9 has a much more "modern" design than the Redmi 9C and 9A , as these last two terminals are focused on the entry-level range, while the Redmi 9 is in the middle range. The back of the Redmi 9 is made of polycarbonate, like the Redmi 9C and Redmi 9A. The difference is that the Redmi 9 camera module is centered, upright, and has a round shape on the back. In the case of the Redmi 9C, the camera is in the upper left corner and the module is square in shape. The Redmi 9A also has a camera on the left side, but with a single lens and a vertical module.

All three models have a cutout at the top and a minimal border at the bottom.

    Camera

The camera configuration varies from model to model, with the Redmi 9A being the worst configuration as it only has a 13-megapixel main camera. The Redmi 9C also has that 13-megapixel camera, but two more sensors have been added : a 5-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth-of-field lens. This latter camera is used in portrait mode.

The Redmi 9, on the other hand, has a quad-camera. Again, we see that 13-megapixel primary lens. The slow wide-angle lens reaches 8 megapixels, in which case we add a 5-megapixel macro sensor and another 2-megapixel macro lens.

The front camera is the same as the Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C, with 5 megapixels. The Redmi 9's front camera is 8 megapixels.

        Screen

The Redmi 9C and Redmi 9A, which also have 6.53 inches, drop down to HD + resolution . This also lowers the pixel density per inch on these models, so there is a difference in sharpness.

        Battery

There is very little difference in the battery.  All three cell phones have an excellent battery. Both the Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C have 5,000 mAh and the Redmi 9 has 5,020 mAh. This difference of 20 mAh may be the key for the most powerful terminal in the Redmi 9 lineup to have the same battery life as the other models, since you have to consider that the Redmi 9 has a higher resolution.

There is also a difference in price. Redmi 9 has a load of 18W . Redmi 9C and Redmi 9A have a load of 15 watts.

Finally, let's look at the difference between the prices. We could see that the Redmi 9A is the simplest terminal with lower specs: it has only one camera, the processor is the least powerful and its design is simpler. It is followed very closely by the Redmi 9C, without any differences in the photographic part and the processor. As in the design, which, although somewhat more modern, it is also quite simple.

Redmi 9 is the most powerful. Also the one with the best design, the bigger battery and the bigger photo section. Of course, it is the most expensive.

The Xiaomi Redmi 9A costs 100 euros in the version with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of built-in memory. Redmi 9C costs 120 euros. So the difference is only 20 euros. The Redmi 9 costs 125 euros for the version with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of built-in memory: a difference of only 5 euros compared to the 9C. The version with 4GB of RAM is more expensive: 140 euros.
