2006 Is The Last Year For The Isuzu Ascender

Isuzu Ascender is a vehicle designed and manufactured by General Motors. Production for this vehicle resumed in 2003. However, for those looking to buy or own one of these Isuzu Ascenders, the sad news is that this year, 2006, is the last year for its production. Next year, in 2007, Isuzu Ascenders will no longer be produced.

In the line of vehicles in General Motors' Isuzu division, Isuzu Ascend actually took over and replaced the vacancies left by Isuzu Trooper when production of this vehicle by Isuzu Trooper came to a complete halt. According to Isuzu Ascendant, this vehicle is designed and manufactured as a mid-size sport utility vehicle. Built and mounted on the 4WD GMT 360 platform, it is closely related to the GMC Envoy, Chevrolet Trailblazer, Buick Rainer, Old బైల్mobile Bravada and the Saab 9-7 X. The power of this vehicle comes from two engine options. These engines include a 4.2-liter Vortech i6 engine and a 5.3-liter Vortech V8 engine. Interested parties and customers can choose between the two engines that serve as the power source for the vehicle. In the automobile market, Isuzu Ascender consistently has some competing vehicles. The list of vehicles includes Toyota 4Runner, Nissan Pathfinder, Ford Explorer, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Chevrolet Tahoe, Toyota Sequoia, Chevrolet Trailblazer, Ford Expedition and GMC Envoy.

Since its debut in 2003, the Isuzu Ascender has been a sports utility vehicle that can carry up to seven passengers in its interior. However, next year, another variant of this vehicle was introduced in the automobile market and this time the vehicle could only carry a maximum of five passengers. Both of these vehicles were only available until this year and have been in continuous production.
