AirPods and Beats headphones get an update that makes them easier to find

Apple has released another firmware update for the AirPods and Beats headphones. It adds a feature to find accessories through Locator.

Users of the headphones will be able to find them if they've lost them, as well as get a notification if they've forgotten them somewhere, such as in a coffee shop or at work.

The update installs automatically and affects the following models:

AirPods 2, AirPods Pro and AirPods Max;

Beats Solo Pro, Powerbeats 4 and Powerbeats Pro.

For AirPods, the fresh firmware number is 4A400, and for Beats it is 4A394. You can check your version in the settings under Bluetooth.
