Animal Similarities From Time To Time

Have you ever traveled to different countries? If you've ever done that, you know what a species is. There are some similar animals because they are still classified as species. But there are also animals that are similar but not classified as species. From each of these animals we can see the resemblance of them which we can directly see. From the shape to the behavior it has. Even though their lifespan is not the same. Some people could tell that it was visually different. But there were some things they didn't seem to know. Maybe you're asking yourself a question. What are those. Here are the names of animals that have similarities :

A. Squirrel and Possum

Squirrels and possums are animals that eat the same food, namely nuts. They can hang on trees without worrying about their weight. Which if measured by the time is very light. Both of them inhabit the same trees as a place to live.

B. Squid And Octopus

Squid and octopus are inhabitants of the sea with tentacles. They can secrete a spray of ink from inside their bodies as a deterrent to predators. And what is clear is that both of them are both soft-bodied, aka boneless.

C. Turtles And Fur

Tortoises and fur both have hard shells with which they protect themselves from predators.  They can swim in water or walk on land. What looks unique about these two animals is that they will have difficulty turning around if their shells are reversed. And usually becomes an easy target for birds.

D. Crocodile And Alligator

Crocodiles and alligators have scales that are quite tough compared to predators in their environment. They are quite reliable meat predators. And as we know they can walk on land or swim in the sea at high speed. That's why they can be called as dangerous predators.

E. Duck And Platypus

Ducks and Platypuses have membranes for wading through water. As long as it's not in a place where there's a lot of current they can swim. They are used to living in dirty places. Both are ovoviviparous animals. Even though it belongs to the mammal group.

F. Goats and Antelope

Goats and antelopes eat leaves. They both like to gore while running when they detect danger. Both are lazy animals. In the sense of sleeping more than moving.

G. Lizard and Salamander

Lizards and salamanders can sever their tails when threatened. They have slippery bodies with which they can slip into narrow crevices to protect themselves. Both have tongues that can be extended quickly to catch prey. Of course it's definitely not a big animal whose size is bigger than its body.

The explanation above may be just a little of what we know. Basically there are many similar animals in this world. I don't know if he lived in prehistoric times or today. Sometimes an animal in one place can bring about a change in an animal in another. Maybe this is the cause. Animal adaptation becomes the benchmark in their development. The events of preying on each other that we know will never end. As long as the condition of the food chain is maintained, they will not become extinct. Are you interested in seeing it in person? You can visit the nearest animal shelter center in your country.
