Beyoncé Models New Valentine’s Day Themed Ivy Park Collection

The pop star modeled the latest love-themed collection from her Adidas x Ivy Park partnership, titled Ivy Heart, on her Instagram on Monday. In the images, Beyoncé wears a crimson velour tracksuit with a matching sports bra, bucket hat, and lipstick, finishing off the look with large, white, heart-shaped sunglasses. She also showed off one of the new sneaker designs that will be released as part of the collection, a fresh iteration on Adidas’s classic Stan Smith silhouette featuring a dipped sole and a heart graphic. And that’s not the only new shoe style available in this drop, the Ivy Heart line will also include a brand new silhouette, the IVP Superstar Plim, a mule-style shoe. According to the press release for the new collection, the new looks are “rooted in Beyoncé’s love of athleticism and fashion, merged with adidas’s performance and innovation” resulting in a range of “silhouettes that are sporty, stylish, and above all, unique.” For the campaign, Queen Bey is joined by stars like Karrueche Tran, Tyson Beckford, Troye Sivan, Shu Pei, and Naomi Watanabe. Much like the apparel itself, the campaign was done in an array of reds and pinks, examining all of the connotations we have with that color from the Western association of “love, romance, and sensuality,” to the Eastern attributes of “good fortune and joy.” Overall, “The concept is centered around bringing people together from all different backgrounds through this one color that’s sentimental to so many.” The collection is entirely composed of red, pink, and neutral pieces made from velour, ribbed knit, and faux latex with prices ranging from $30 to $300 and in sizes that go from a XXXS to a XXXXL.
