I used to think that a person could be anything: even a thief, even a boor, even a cheat. So it was his life in the family, the way his parents brought him up, or the spirit had to go through such lessons.
Even now I understand this, but I want to have people of a different order around me. These are people for whom honor, word, dignity, and conscience matter.
Probably, due to the same household occupation, women rarely think about these categories. More precisely, it is accepted that they have nothing to do with femininity, so it is not worth working on the characteristics that do not develop femininity, do not help find a man and get married, and, it seems, only interfere in the realization in the outside world. This is a misconception. Any relationship can be long-lasting and of high quality only in one case: if people's values coincide.
I have great misgivings about a man who cannot explain what honor and the ability to keep his word mean to him. If he defines conscience as "I try not to lie, at most I just keep quiet," then as a person he presents a sad picture. Conscience is definitely more than that. If a person cannot define moral categories for himself, control himself, evaluate his actions, it is very sad.
Psychologists can explain any human behavior. In terms of how to find an excuse for oneself, it is a very convenient science. Does a person have countless sexual encounters, manipulate, avoid responsibility? So he is an unloved child, he has an attachment disorder due to a traumatic relationship with his mother, and so much more.
But if you've grown up, if you've become an adult, educate yourself! Look for your self-awareness!You can always find excuses for the pain you cause other people, but more often than not, you see what you're doing, at least by the response you understand. If you have a healthy brain (no organic lesions from childhood), you should be able to analyze. Even if an unknown force pushes you to steal or use another person's body for once, you are able to understand, see, feel that you are doing the other person wrong. And you see! But you prefer to shove those doubts into a far corner of your mind and justify yourself.
If a man is ruled by low-level values: money at any price, pleasure at any price, indulging his whims, he turns into a dirty, low-level creature.
Psychologically speaking, the animal "It" takes over the "I" in the total absence of the "Super-I. The "I" realizes and satisfies the unconscious desires and needs of the "It" by means of the norms and laws of the "Super-I". Presence of all three components - "It", "I" and "Super-I" - in a person's psyche makes him a complete, accomplished personality. Otherwise, you get a surrogate, an incomplete person, with whom it is impossible to build anything full-fledged.
Neither intelligence, nor intellect, nor education by themselves define high order values. These values are formed by inner purity and fullness, by tireless work on oneself. They make a person not just a living being, but a Person. Only values of a high order: dignity, respect, self-respect, willpower and fortitude, conscience - set high vibrations of the soul and make a person pure and bright.
Such people cannot live, make friends, or work with dirty characters. They can never be understood. They will inevitably be sought to suppress and destroy. The unconscious is many times more powerful and stronger than the superconscious.
Choose people of your own value level, and you will be happy!
