Sausages - 350 grams

Egg - 1 egg

Wheat flour - 100 grams

Corn flour - 100 grams

Baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Milk - 50-70 ml (depending on consistency of dough)

Salt - 1/3 teaspoon

Sugar - 1/2 teaspoon

Vegetable oil - for deep frying

To make corn dogs, prepare the products. For the recipe, take your favorite delicious sausages. If you can't find cornmeal at home, you can replace it with wheat flour and make the batter with wheat flour only, it will be very tasty too.

Mix the dry ingredients in a container with high walls, so that later it was easy to dip the sausages.

Add the egg, stir, pour in the milk until a very thick dough is obtained.

We throw the sausages in flour beforehand.

We pierce each sausage with a skewer and dip it into the dough completely, so that the top of the skewer is also covered with dough.

Preheat the deep fryer to 150-170 degrees and fry the sausages in the batter, rotating the skewers so that the corn dogs are evenly browned.
