Did you know that it is obligatory to read the contents of the salt before buying it in the store?

Of course, the composition of some products produced by modern enterprises can not be called consistent. And to be sure in the quality of food, which you buy in a supermarket, sometimes it is important. But earlier I did not even think that it was worth it to expect a kick in the back from the producers of salt. But the composition of the salt made me hesitate. Who remembers this product back some 15-20 years ago (I'm not talking about the salt of the early production), that will feel the difference. Unlike today's salt, earlier salt had a ghostly effect. Large crystals often transformed into one dry stone, which had to be scraped to be tampered with.

On the package of salt of several manufacturers, apart from sodium chloride (actually, the salt itself), there are food additives E535 and E536. What they are and why they are added to the salt, we will tell you.

E535 - sodium ferricyanide, which belongs to the group of stabilizers. It is added to the salt so that it would not clump and would be whitish. E535 contains cyanide compounds, due to which its use in large quantities has a manual effect on the human body. E536 - potassium ferricyanide is also a stabilizer. It is used for the salt to be dissipated. E536 contains ciandi, which are not safe for health in case of mass influence. They provoke problems with the skin, malfunction of the gastrointestinal tract and lymph nodes. Since the content of these food additives in the salt is very low, their effect is noticeable only over time. However, E535 and E536 are allowed and actively used both in domestic and European food production.

Moreover, scientists assert that sodium and potassium pherots are not absorbed into the walls of the stomach but are safely excreted in an unaltered form. But personally I would not want to test it on myself. So now I choose a salt with the most "clean" composition.

That is why in modern conditions it is necessary to carefully study the composition not only of sausages and malts, but even water and salt. Additives and preservatives can get us even in the simplest products. But did you know that salt does not only contain salt? How often do you pay attention to the information on the packaging?
