Four practices to avoid the punishment of the grave

Four practices to avoid the punishment of the grave, namely :

 

 1. Believe in Allah SWT

 One thing that cannot be forgotten if a Muslim wants to avoid the torment of the grave is having faith in Allah SWT.  Of course this also includes obeying His Shari'a and following the Prophet Muhammad and his companions.

 There are several narrations that convey this.  One narration states that those who believe will have their graves widen as wide as the eye can see.

 "Meaning faith and monotheism in Allah and doing good deeds, including the source of salvation from the punishment of the grave.

 

 2. Regularly Read Surah Al-Mulk

 There are several narrations that show the superiority of Surah Al-Mulk.  These narrations state that Surah Al-Mulk can save the reader from the fire of hell.

 In the history of An-Nasa'i it is stated that those who read tabarakalladzi biyadihil mulku (Surat Al-Mulk) every night will be prevented from the punishment of the grave:

 ارك المانعة اب القبر

 Therefore, the Muslim Ummah to memorize this surah.  For example, the first 10 verses of Surah Al-Mulk are read during the Zuhr prayer.  After that the second and third 10 verses, for example, are read during the Asr and Maghrib prayers.  "Completing 30 verses at the end of the night is enough to save us from the torment of the grave itself.

 

 3. Practicing the contents of the Koran, can help Muslims survive the torment of the grave.

 

 4. Always pray.

 Another thing that can save Muslims from the torment of the grave is to pray and seek refuge from the torment of the grave.  Prayers for protection from the torment of the grave can be read before greeting during prayer.  Prayers that can be read before greetings.  This prayer has the meaning of asking for protection from the torment of the grave.  The following is one of these prayers:

 

  •  اللَّهُمَّ ابِ الْقَبْرِ اب النار، الْمَحْيَا الْمَمَاتِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَالِ Allahumma inni a'udzu bika mina 'adzabil qabri wa min 'adzabin nari wa min fitnatil da minya wal mamal.

 O Allah, I seek refuge in you from the torment of the grave and the torment of the fire of hell, and the slander of the living and the slander of the dead, and the slander of the Messiah and the Dajjal.
