I have been seeing endless questions like "What's the Will of God in marriage?". Based on my perspective, research and the Word of God, I'll talk extensively on this.
Basically, the WILL OF GOD in Marriage is God's principles and standards......which is the Word of God.
And what is God's will for us in marriage?
1. That we marry a believer, a child of God, one who has been redeemed and called out from sin- 2 Corinthians 6:14-18
2. That we marry someone with a good and godly character- I Peter 3:8-11.
3. That we marry someone that we love and love us too as Christ loves the church- Ephesians 5:1-2, 25
4. That we marry someone that is submissive and respectful- Colossians 3:18
5. That we marry someone compatible with us, medically, spiritually and otherwise- Genesis 2:23
6. That we marry someone that we are attracted to, physically, spiritually, intellectually, emotionally and otherwise- Genesis 2:23
7. That we marry our friend- Proverbs 17:17
8. That we marry someone that understands us and we understand them too- Proverbs 24:3
9. That we marry someone that's hard-working, caring and kind.- I Thessalonians 4:11
10. That we marry someone whom we have peace of mind about- Philippians 4:7
11. That we marry when we are ready and not out of pressure. You are ready for marriage when you're financially, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually stable. - Genesis 2:18, 24
Now you know God's will, you pray daily for God to direct you on how you can locate the bones of your bones, your missing ribs and the love of your life. Someone in line with God's will, standards and principles in marriage.

So, when looking for the WILL OF GOD in anything, whether marriage, business, etc, go back to the Bible and know what God says.....and pray for direction in line with them.Β Β then you make your choice based on the confirmation from the word of God.
So when finding a life partner, do a thorough CHECK!Β
-Is he/she a believer? Check!
-Do you like his/her character qualities? Check!
-Are you ready to settle? CHECK!
- Do you have peace about them? Check!
-Are you attracted to him/her? Check, Check, Check! Don't sleep. Check!
In summary, don't expect God to direct you to a person with these qualities when you don't have them.....so, first thing first, work on yourself. Have a stable relationship with God.....Don't stop praying, God knows how He will direct you and at the appointed, you shall settle. I will settle too. Amen
