Domestic motorists will be forced to have their cars inspected. The procedure is planned to be returned as mandatory, and almost all vehicles will fall under it. However, there are some exceptions.

Who needs checking and who does not?
The procedure for inspection of the vehicle roadworthiness is not called mandatory for nothing. Almost all cars will have to undergo it. However, "nearly all" does not mean "absolutely everyone.
Vehicles with a speed of less than 25 km/hour (so called "low-speed") will be able to avoid the compulsory maintenance:
speed of travel does not exceed 25 km/h (so called "low-speed");
the engine has a volume of less than 125 cc (if it is an electric car, but does not exceed the power of 4 kW);have the status of an agricultural vehicle. Also they must not travel faster than 40 km/hour;
There is no need to use public roads.
In all other cases, the technical inspection will have to be passed. And not only for car owners, but also for motorcycle and moped riders.
How much will I have to pay?
We are informed in advance that only those service stations which will have a permit for this will be able to check cars.
A preliminary average cost of this "luxury" is already known, reports Telegraf:
passenger car - 1000 UAH;
truck - UAH 1,500.
