2 chicken breasts

3 tomatoes sliced

As needed Basil leaves

6-8 sliced mozzarella cheese

As needed Shredded mozzarella cheese

as required Balsamic vinegar

as required Oregano

as required Black pepper

Steps

Take each chicken breast and make 8 small slits on it without cutting it through.

Stuff the slits of each chicken breasts with alternate layers of sliced tomatoes, basil and sliced mozzarella cheese.

Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper and oregano.

Preheat oven to 180 degrees and transfer the chicken breasts to an oven safe pan and drizzle some olive oil onto them.

Bake the caprese stuffed chicken for 30 minutes or until no longer pink in colour.

Remove from the oven and sprinkle some shredded mozzarella cheese.Put back in the oven for 5 more minutes.

Remove from the oven and drizzle some balsamic vinegar.

Caprese stuffed chicken is ready to serve.
