Ingredients. (for 6-8 person)

1 medium size onion

5-6 cloves garlic

3 medium size tomatoes

3-4 tbsp sugar

3-4 tbsp oil

1/2 cup water

1 tsp white vinegar

1 tsp cumin seeds

Salt to taste

7-8 dried red chillies

1 tbsp tomato sauce
Steps

First thing first deseed the dried red chillies and soak them in water for 15-20 minutes. Meanwhile roughly chop the onions, garlics and tomatoes. Then transfer the red chillies along with water to a sauce pan and add the chopped onion, garlic and tomatoes to it.

Mix them all well add 2-3 tbsp more water if needed and cover it. Cook it on high flame for 3 minutes then lower the flame and cook till everything gets tendor. Now open the lid and dry out all the water and allow it to cool down. Then grind it to a fine and smooth paste. Now in the same pan add oil when get heated add the cumin seeds. When the cumin start to splutter then add the grinded paste and to it add the tomato sauce and mix.

Mix well and allow it to boil then add the vinegar followed by salt and sugar and mix very well. Cover it and cook it to the desired consistency. The consistency should be semi flowy. Now off the flame and let it completely cool down. It will thicker when cool down. You can even store it for upto a week simply keep it in a neat and clean airtight container in the refrigerator.
