The contents of plant leaves contain chloroplast. Chlorophyll is available in thousands of chloroplast materials. It captures all the chlorophyll light and converts it into energy. This happens in a loop.
Not all the oxygen produced by photosynthesis is used for respiration. Some enter the atmosphere. Oxygen entering the atmosphere in the form of carbon dioxide is recycled for photosynthesis. This ensures the balance of nutrition. Plants also take away the water and mineral balance they need for photosynthesis from their roots.
Oxygen and starch obtained through photosynthesis are used in other areas of the plant. First of all, it is a critical requirement for plants to grow and thrive. Some of the food produced is used by photosynthetic cells for respiration. This respiration happens on nights without solar energy. In other words, it acts as a warehouse for plants.
Some of the glucose produced is transported to parts of the plants that cannot photosynthesize, such as fruits and bodies. It allows growth, development and maturity here. Some of the glucose that reaches this area is stored by converting it into starch.
