In a recent interview, experts from the ZSW Center reported on the development of new modern lithium-ion batteries, which, unlike any other batteries, can be used for up to 27 years.
Experts say that even after 10 thousand charge cycles, the charging capacity of batteries will decrease by only 15%. Such batteries can be used in any sphere. They are even suitable for electric cars. Without loss of capacity they can be recharged daily for almost three decades.
Also, such batteries may be used in wind and solar power plants.
The general market should receive such batteries at the end of this year.
