Nutritionist named a drink to lower blood pressure

American nutritionist Lauren Harris-Pincus named a breakfast drink that helps lower blood pressure.

According to Harris-Pincus, according to research, drinking herbal chai curcade tea regularly in the morning helps lower blood pressure in people with prehypertension and first-degree hypertension.

"One study showed that subjects who drank three cups of carcade tea a day had the same reduction in blood pressure as they did when taking some standard medications,"

- noted the specialist.

To make the drink even healthier and tastier, the nutritionist recommends adding some freshly squeezed pomegranate juice to it.

"Pomegranate juice contains antioxidants-polyphenols. The dark red pomegranate pips have anthocyanins, and the rind and white flesh around the pips have ellagitannins."

- Harris-Pincus said.

The doctor recommends starting every morning with a cup of herbal kartade tea to prevent hypertension.
