Trivia

Tejaswi (along with his like-minded friends) composed Kuvempu's Sri Ramayana Darshanam with Kuvempu's script, heralding a new wave. The government of Karnataka provided a grant for this study, but the book was expensive and ultimately produced mediocre results.

In early 2004, a controversy arose regarding the inclusion of Madhwacharya's name in Jaya Bharata Jananiya Tanujate written by Kuvempu. Tejaswi, Kuvempu' son and the copyright holder of Kuvempu's article, ridiculed any attempt to alter the poem.

While some intellectuals condemned the November 11, 2005 incident in which Belgaum mayor Vijay More's face was painted black, Tejaswi asked whether it was necessary to add "fairness and cuteness".

Tejaswi has a big appetite and is known for her love for delicious food.

Death

He died of heart attack at around 2 pm on April 5, 2007, at Niruttara Farm in Mudigere in Chikmagalur district of Karnataka. He was 68 years old at the time. They have 2 daughters, Susmith and Eshanye, who are both software engineers. His wife Rajeshwari lives in Niruttara in Mudigere.
