Quantic Dream may be working on a new game in the Star Wars universe

Tom Henderson, Dualshockers journalist and reliable source of leaks, has made a strange hint. It comes in the form of a picture that hints that Quantic Dream is working on a Star Wars game. There have been no other leaks yet.

Some Twitter users have started asking if the picture is a hint of an upcoming "Star Wars" game. And judging by Tom's reaction, that assumption is correct.

Quantic Dream is a studio founded in 1997. Specialization are games with alternate branches of events, where the player's decisions affect the further story. The most famous games of the studio are Heavy Rain and Detroit: Become Human. Initially the games were exclusive for PlayStation, later they were ported to PC.

Quantic Dream recently published a job posting that confirms that development of the next AAA game is underway. According to the description, the game is an action-adventure game. However, it is not specified whether the game will be similar to Detroit: Become Human, which is classified as an action-adventure game, or what else. Quantic Dream previously mentioned that it hasn't ruled out the possibility of an open-world game.

Quantic Dream also plans to focus on self-publishing games, following the success of Detroit: Become Human. The company plans to help small studios and act as a publisher.

Speaking about Star Wars, there are several games in development at the moment: Knights of the Old Republic Remake, an open-world game from Ubisoft and LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. A sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order, which despite its single-player character, has long been on the second line of sales, is not excluded. Electronic Arts confirmed the development of the sequel during a phone call, but no official announcement has yet been made.
