Reject Bwana Kitendawili, Ruto Tells The Residents Of The Coast

Deputy President William Ruto urged coastal residents to reject state project leaders while continuing to criticize President Uhuru Kenyatta's election in the Aug. 9 election.

The DP said Kenyans would not vote for government projects but for leaders with a track record.
In a speech on Saturday in Kwale, where he co-launched several county and state government projects with Governor Salim Mvurya, the DP said citizens had become wise enough not to fall for unaccountable, fraudulent leaders.

Ruto said the dishonest leaders' agenda is to lie to Kenyans and inflict pain on overburdened ordinary people.
The DP said locals would not give in to the Deep State plan and would elect leaders of their own choice, not the one proposed.
Citizens will not agree to be anyone's tool and will elect leaders who have good development agendas and selfless individuals whose interest is to benefit everyone, Ruto said.
Ruto has also promised more development projects in the coastal region once he becomes president.
The DP said it will help transform the coast into an industrial city to create job opportunities and improve livelihoods through the Dongo Kundu project.
He said he will bring sanity to the SGR project and use it as a symbol of unity, not division.
“SGR will not be the tool that will destroy the Coast Province, rather it should be the tool to grow the economy of this region.

He said through the Kenya Kwanza Alliance they will ensure that many young people are empowered and have access to employment opportunities.

Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula said Ruto's government will lower the cost of living and improve living standards.
He urged Kwale residents to vote for Ruto, adding he will ensure they take full advantage of the blue economy and mining activities.
Wetangula promised to scrap the competency-based curriculum, calling it expensive and complicated.
The Ford Kenya leader also urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to stop interfering in the people's decision.
This catastrophe, as an outgoing president, trying to determine who will be the next president is dangerous for the country and for you, he said.
ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi said they would defeat the state project leaders on the first ballot.
He also advised their rivals to admit defeat if they were defeated because Kenya had no money for repeat elections.
