Some Reasons Why You Should not Forget the Industrial Revolution

SOME REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD NOT FORGET THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION (From the Late 1700s – 21 Century).

The Industrial Revolution was a process of change or transition from agrarian and handicraft methods of production to more transformative and technology base methods of production using large machinery in the late 1700s and early 1800s century. The industrial revolution takes its name from the term “Industry” which describes the stage of production where raw materials are transformed into finished and semi-finished products for home consumption and further industrial uses.  The Industrial Revolution began in Britain and spread to other parts of the world including the United States by the I830s and 1840s. It was fueled by the game-changing use of steam power. Great Britain has the opportunity to break fought with the industrial revolution most importantly because the British government had less intervention in the Business sector in Britain which gave more opportunity for British businessmen to be industrious by coming up with new business ideas that could boost their economy.

What are some of the five Amazing things that you should not forget about the Industrial Revolution?

Though the industrial revolution has long existed, it cannot be forgotten as much as it is still in a process of growth from one level to the other. Here, there are five amazing things that you should not forget about the Industrial Revolution:

1.The Industrial Revolution is the Brain behind the Agricultural Revolution

It is true, agriculture which is the primary stage of production existed even before the industrial revolution, but agriculture at this time was primitive and directly for home consumption. Most of the crops produced during this time were food crops and non-cash crops. The Birth of the Industrial Revolution put pressure on the production of more cash crops rather than food crops. The Agricultural revolution in the 18th Century tends to erupt during this time due to the pressure that was coming from newly created Industries in Britain.

2.The Industrial Revolution has not ended; it is still in a process of advanced growth:

Many have the perspective that the industrial revolution is an old historical topic that can only be remembered, forgetting that, this revolution is still in the process of growth. The industrial revolution is the longest revolution that has ever been recorded in the world’s history, though history has stated the beginning and end of the industrial revolution already. Notwithstanding, it is still in a process of advanced growth and change.

3.The primary reason for the scramble for African continents by Europeans’ power was sparked by the Industrial revolution:

Not surprisingly, during this time, European powers were on an explorative journey; a period of war and civil crisis. After seeing the success of the industrial revolution, European power saw Africa as a fertile ground to grow and harvest large quantities of raw materials to use in their home industries.

4.The Industrial Revolution has failed to completely revolt to some part of the world:

The industrial is mostly discussed from a theoretical perspective than at a practical level. Large technology and machinery created due to the industrial revolution have been hidden in some parts of the world making it difficult for other countries from benefiting from it. Many African countries are still desirous to undergo the revolution brought by the industrial revolution while some countries have already concluded the 4 phases of this revolution long ago.

5.The Industrial Revolution was not limited to creating machinery for the transformation of goods but also dangerous war weapons and Atomic Bombs:

These were the weapons European powers used in fighting wars in Africa in the process of securing large colonies to grow their plantations and cash crops for industrial use. This explains why the British were term as the world Power during this time because the British were able to produce the best suffocating weapons using their industrial resources and machinery produced from the industrial revolution.
