The president of the Philippines suggested that those who do not want to be vaccinated should be vaccinated in their sleep

Citizens who do not want or cannot decide to be vaccinated against coronavirus can be vaccinated in their sleep. The proposal came from Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, TASS reported.

"I know that many still do not want (to be vaccinated, - ed.). Let's get into their homes and vaccinate them while they sleep," Duterte said during a televised address.

He also added that he was ready to personally lead his initiative.

The head of state also reminded once again about the need to wear a protective mask and keep a social distance.

It is noted that more than 23 million people in the Philippines have been vaccinated. The authorities plan to vaccinate up to 70 million citizens by the end of the year.
