The Vivo X70 Pro: Revealed!

Vivo X70 Pro's official-looking renders have surfaced online, hinting that the smartphone may launch soon. The Vivo X70 series is expected to debut in September. However, there has been no official confirmation from the company regarding the smartphone's launch. Vivo X70 Pro was also spotted on the Google Play Console listing that hints at the key specifications of the smartphones along with some of the design details. The Vivo X70 series is expected to have three models — Vivo X70, Vivo X70 Pro, and Vivo X70 Pro+.

Vivo is expected to launch the Vivo X70, Vivo X70 Pro, and the Vivo X70 Pro in September this year. The Vivo X70 Pro's official-looking renders have appeared online, and, the smartphone is seen to sport a triple rear camera setup with two sensors stacked vertically and a dual-LED flash sitting at the centre. The bottom of the Vivo X70 Pro houses the USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, microphone, and loudspeakers. Vivo X70 Pro's specifications According to the leaked specifications, the Vivo X70 Pro is expected to sport a 6.28-inch display with a waterdrop notch and an aspect ratio of 19:9. The smartphone is expected to be powered by an octa-core processor with either 2.2GHz or 1.8GHz CPU, coupled with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM.

 

The specifications of the smartphones

Based on the specifications, the Vivo X70 is likely to feature a 6.2-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) display with an 18.7:9 aspect ratio, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of inbuilt storage. The smartphone is said to have a dual rear camera setup, with a 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front, the smartphone will house a single 8-megapixel sensor with facial recognition support. There will be a 4,230mAh battery under the hood, with support for Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0. On the other hand, the Vivo X70 Pro could come with a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) display with an 18.7:9 aspect ratio, 3GB of RAM, 64GB of inbuilt storage, and a dual rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor.

 

Design details of the smartphones

Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo X70 will sport a 6.39-inch display. The smartphone will likely to offer support for AMOLED display and not an LCD panel. The smartphone has a waterdrop-style notch on top, and the earpiece is located towards the bottom of the display. There is a waterdrop-style display notch on the Vivo X70, however, the Vivo X70 Pro will have an elongated notch on top that houses the selfie camera. The Vivo X70 Pro has thin bezels on the top and bottom of the display, which is dominated by the thick notch on top. The display has an aspect ratio of 19:9 with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. The smartphone is also expected to have dual cameras on the back and a dual-edge curved display with a resolution of 2244×1080 pixels.

 

Conclusion<

The leaked renders of the Vivo X70 Pro that come through in the form of image renders do show the design elements of the smartphone. It shows an in-display fingerprint sensor placed on the back of the device. The X70 Pro is also expected to have a similar design as the Vivo X21 that was launched last year with a similar design as the Vivo X20 Plus UD. However, there will be a change in the placement of the fingerprint sensor as it is expected to be placed on the side, similar to the Vivo X20 Plus. In terms of specifications, the smartphone is expected to have a 6.3-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9, screen-to-body ratio of 91 percent, and resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The Snapdragon 660 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.
