Zebra Pie


Eggs - 5 pcs.

Sugar - 240-320 gr

Butter (melt) - 150-200 gr

Sour cream - 200 ml

Soda - 0,5 tsp.

(put out with vinegar)

Flour - 250-270 gr.

Cocoa - 2 tablespoons


How to cook the cake "Zebra":

step # 1

Beat the eggs with sugar until white foam.

Step # 2.

Add sifted flour, baking soda (you can put it out), melted cooled butter, sour cream and mix thoroughly (better with a mixer).

step #3.

Divide the dough into two equal parts. In one part add 2 tablespoons of flour.

step #4.

In the other 2 tablespoons of cocoa.

step #5.

Stir to make sure there are no lumps.

Step #6.

The dough should be the consistency of light cream.

step #7.

Grease a wide mold (26-28 cm) with butter. Pour small portions of different batter (one tablespoon at a time) into the center. Do not mix!

step #8.

Bake the zebra pie in a preheated oven at 190-200 degrees for half an hour. Keep an eye on it all the time. If the top of the cake is already baked, but the middle is not - you should cover the cake with foil, reduce the temperature to 180 degrees and bake the zebra pie until it is ready.
