Mental health. Panic attack.

Panic attacks are the body's response to external stimuli, a product of thinking, malfunctioning of the nervous system, disruption of the brain's impulse supply.

Symptoms of a panic attack are palpitations, feelings of fear, increased sweating, hand tremors, rapid breathing, weakness in the whole body, dizziness, darkening of the eyes, sluggishness of reactions. These symptoms often accompany a panic attack. The presence of more than 3 symptoms and their recurrence may indicate that you are having a panic attack. The cause of this mental disorder has not been found. But psychiatrists believe the cause is a disorder of the central nervous system. The reason may be irritants that the human psyche could have encountered earlier and recorded in its memory as a danger. It can also be caused by certain substances.

It is worth remembering that if you have previously been examined and the results of the indicators are normal, then this condition is not caused by physical abnormalities, but rather by mental disorders. In this case, it is worth contacting your psychiatrist and describing the above symptoms. This can be the cause of prolonged stress, when the body begins to react sharply to minor external stimuli. Often in such cases, sedatives and proper rest are prescribed. Treatment in specialized hospitals is particularly effective.

One should choose the fact that the disorder can start a more serious mental illness or be one of the symptoms of an already existing mental illness.

When communicating with a psychiatrist, it is worth clarifying the stability of the environment in which you usually stay. Problems at work, lack of stable income, problems in the family, the birth of a child or raising children without a second parent, caring for elderly parents, inner emotion, outside pressure and other factors are the primary cause of human mental disorders. Brain injuries can be the cause of certain disorders, as they affect the main control center of the body.

Many sources say that it is impossible to die from a panic attack. But it can become a threat in heart disease. In some cases, the emotional distress from this disorder is so high that the person commits suicide, no longer having the strength to experience these symptoms.

If you notice these symptoms in yourself or experience them for a long time, you should contact a psychiatrist as soon as possible to avoid possible consequences.
